{Client Adventures} I Saw THE Dress!

If you’ve seen Sex & the City The Move, then you’ve seen THE dress. Carrie Bradshaw wears the Vivienne Westwood creation on her big day and we all know how that day turns out. Well… I digress…

Last Wednesday I took a road trip down to Charlotte to see Carrie’s dress in person. On Thursday March 5, I attended the {Hayden Olivia Bridal’s} Dress in the Queen City charity fashion show. My wonderful client {Ivy Robinson} handled the event design for the night. The event was held at {SUITE} at EpiCentre in uptown Charlotte.

When my best friend and I arrived at SUITE we immediately fell in love with the hip, sexy and chic décor of the night. Turnout was great and excitement was high. As the show began we were impressed with the diversity of dress designers. Featured designers included: {Modern Trousseau}, {Christos} and {Kenneth Pool}. The finale piece was of course {Vivienne Westwood’s} Carrie dress. It was equally beautiful in person as it was on screen!

The night was a huge success and all of the proceeds went to {Dress for Success Charlotte}! I can’t wait to get back to Charlotte.

All my best,

Michelle

P.S. When I do go back to Charlotte, Ivy and I will have to have dinner at {Copper} again. The food there is delicious! See my post from last Wednesday {here}.

{We Love} Copper Restaurant

Today I headed down to Charlotte, NC for tomorrow's {Dress in the Queen City} charity event. After getting settle into my room at {The Blake Hotel}, I had dinner with {Ivy Robinson}. I told her I would love to have Indian Cuisine. Ivy said she knew the perfect place. We arrived at {Copper} and immediately I was impressed. From the bungalow location to the chic, hip and modern decor; I was sold before I ever took a bite. When I finally indulged in the appetizer I was in love at first bite! I enjoyed Garlic Naan, Polti Samosas and Chana Massala. I highly recommend Copper! Check out Copper the next time you are in Charlotte.

All my best,

Michelle
